When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002, this triggered a total shift in my lifestyle. I changed my diet, exercise routine, and started to pay way more attention to the chemicals in my skincare and body products. I started seeking out all-natural solutions to shampoos, moisturizers, and deodorant. 

Deodorant was particularly important to me, as most deodorants carry parabens which are said to disturb the body's hormonal balance and play a part in breast cancer formation.  Unable to find the perfect natural deodorant, I decided to create my own. After experimenting with many different recipes, I discovered the perfect combination of natural ingredients that actually works! 

Kokum butter, coconut oil, and beeswax are rich in nutrients and soothe the skin. Probiotics and essential oils work together to balance your body's biome and fight bacteria. I make every batch by hand, and my husband helps me fill every tube. Now, we’ve expanded online and throughout the Monterey Bay Area.

Carmel Naturals deodorant was born out of pure love for my family and community. Now we’re hoping to spread the benefits of natural underarm care as far and wide as we can!
